BEYONCE had cancelled her concert here in Malaysia due to 'attire' issues...urggghhh!!!! i wana go!!!!!!! but to jakarta instead? hmmmmm...come on, Mariah Carey reluctantly agreed and at the end, she did 'compromise'...the concert was good despite her wearing jeans and no skimpy clothing that nite. i guess for some artist, the attire is more important than having to meet your fans who has been supporting you and stuff...well i dont know...
the J.CO at pavillion, the same has been commented on "Street" section of the NST today. yummy..should i go and get some after work? *SIGH* im nowhere near my diet regime. absolutely NOWHERE!!!
ASTRO has updated from single and 2 numbers to 3 numbers. wat the H***!!!! after so long using the old numbers, remembering the numbers seems such a torture. however, i think a week should do it ;-) fighting!
i was flipping through my astro guide, seems that there are new channels and then wala!!! KBS WORLD??? OMG!!!! about bloody time!!! yayayay!!! i nearly jumped out of my bed!!! seriously? seriously??? finally i know that its worth paying astro that much all this while. bestnya bestnya!!!!!
now channel 303 will be one of my fav channel for sure! araso!

I personally think, dress code is just load of crap. I think if Beyonce were to sing in "baju kurung" its goona look funny rite? Besides if the stupid authority wanna impose condition, why bother if she has a bigger fan based in Indonesia?
Don't you notice some local singers at times perform and wear if not equal, more "revealing" than her sometimes?
Suka hati dia la nak pakai apa. It is maybe against her princple not to wear sexy? Apa masalah nkau? Tunggu....

sorry la against its principle or watever. mariah lagi la nak show off her gold dust tan but because that she wants to do jugak her concert here in KL, she tetap wear simple jeans and compromise. and she is well known for being a true diva and stuff. thats wat we call true artist, not letting her fans down just because of a piece of clothing issue and still maintain her divaness.
also nak tambah, like RAIN, still datang malaysia eventhough tak boleh strip half naked! tak ade masalah pun, even we all know, as Rain fans that ripping of his shirts to show off his muscle is one of his trademark for his IM COMING concert. ayo, suddenly remembering detik2 manis of the concert..*SIGH*

I was SO looking forward to catching Beyonce live and in the country. Alas that wish has been dashed. I just don’t understand though, what’s the big deal about her dressing? For goodness sake Beyonce has a clothing line, which is styled from the kind of clothes she would wear and like, and I’m sure the Datin of Datin Diaries has probably bought an outfit or four from there, so it’s not like Malaysians are living under a shell. So why can’t the powers that be accept that Beyonce as she is?
Fans go to her show for the experience of listening to her music live and loud. The dressing is like a nice concession to the price of an admission ticket – basically we just want to count how many costume changes she goes through, but that’s not the motivating factor for going to a concert.
I’m sorry I’d be more upset if the sound system was rubbish than if Beyonce only wore one revealing outfit.
And, honestly, how much of a revelation can we possibly be exposed to if Beyonce wore something skimpy? Most of the time, these types of concert tickets are so exorbitantly priced that the most a fan could afford to buy would be tickets for nose bleed seats. So very likely we’d be seeing Beyonce as nothing more than a little glittering speck in the distance. From that far, even with 20-20 vision you’re not going to catch sight of any booty.
I know I can lament all I want but I’m not going to be heard. It is just such a shame that we are losing out on good concerts. I don’t expect Beyonce to conform to our strict dress codes and rulings, she is after all an ARTISTE and therefore unlikely to make any alterations to her image. Though you’ve also got to give credit to glamazon Gwen Stefani for conforming. Sigh, oh well, another concert bites the dust.
