pentas IKON

WELL, watched pentas IKON last Saturday nite. i am so not gonna go over the group part as i have no comments in terms of the finalsit nor the winner.
however, on the solo singer, after watching the performance by Dayang and Jacyln (please be informed that when Mawi performed, me switch to another channel), i would have to say that the USD2,500 went to the well deserved and righful singer. Jac was great that nite despite her oh my god choice of dress. I think Dayang was great as well but am not sure of her choices of songs that she sang and somehow she didnt manage to wow me that nite. Dayang's second dress-me love...
so kudos to JAC!!! u go gurl and make us proud!

the HOLIDAY

WATCHED it over the weekend in K Town...love it love it, please do watch this movie. i think Jude Law is still a hottie. Its great to see Jack Black in here too, being someone smitten with love and no crude or stupid jokes or anything like that...love it..might watch it again lor if i got the time.

but yup, i like it when they say "love can find you"...hmmmm....

My Best Friend Wedding!

To both of you, congratulations!!!!
Yad, am so happy for u!
lives a whole;
it gives to two purposeless lives
a work, and doubles the strength
of each to perform it;
it gives to two questioning natures a reason for living,
and something to live for;
it will give a new gladness to the sunshine,
a new fragrance to the flowers,
a new beauty to the earth,
and a new mystery to life.
- Mark Twain

Congrats Daph!!!!

They say that its better late than never. As i just got to view the pics today, so here it is...Congratulations dear to you and Mr. F!!! Semoga berkekalan sehingga ke akhir hayat..insya-allah...mmuahhh!!!!!
The poem To My Wife by Oscar Wilde

I can write no stately proem
As a prelude to my lay;
From a poet to a poem I would dare to say.
For if of these fallen petals
One to you seem fair,
Love will waft it till it settles
On your hair.
And when wind and winter harden
All the loveless land,
It will whisper of the garden,
You will understand.
And there is nothing left to do
But to kiss once again, and part,
Nay, there is nothing we should rue,
I have my beauty,-you your Art,
Nay, do not start,
One world was not enough for two
Like me and you.

My Lovely Sam Soon

Finally i finished watching this drama!!!yayayayay! but ade part yang sob sob jua...i was suprised by the ending as it didnt show the normal 'happy ending' like the koreans drama would normally have, except, in 'A love to Kill'. i now understand the fans review/forum when some of the fans did not quite like the ending part. however, i think the ending is rational and logic and kinda sweet...its more grounded and yeah, it makes you think that this kinda ending happens in real life...sweet story...still cannot beat 'Full House'. however, kinda good, i would recommend this to the korean dramas fanatics! so total, managed to finish it in 3 days!!!! yay! ok, i need a break from korean drama! im now looking for review of wats the next drama to buy...maybe i should check out the japanese..;-) for a change.

People change!

I am currently watching a korean drama series titled My Name is Kim Sam Soon. i indeed have 4 episodes to go. so far, i can say that the story is quite good and funny tho i would think that Full House is much more cheeky and hilarious than this story. Nevertheless, it has not been a dissapointment as the story line is richer and the soundtrack are also beautiful, not to forget hyun bin and daniel henney as the two main male characters. Hot hot hot!

From the story, I agree with a few of the big and major points which is one, people change all the time. feelings can also change over certain time and if we choose to let go and forget the past, then we can certainly can do that as well. People change, especially when it comes to love.

Another thing that the story would like to tell us is that we cannot help sumtimes of falling in love with that particular person. sumtimes we try to fight it, but if we love then we just love...and that love in real fact is simple actually, only us human makes it complicated...if you love then love, if you hate then just hate it. there is no maybe...there is no in between...

what i think of RAIN...

Rain is Hot, Hot and HOT!!! i seriously dont know when our malaysian artist can beat that. in my personal point of view, Rain is a very hardworking international artist. He managed to gain recognition from the fans outside of Korea eventhough he sings in Korean instead of English. He is currently in his tour for nearly a year now for his "RAIN'S COMING" World Tour for his latest album under his belt which is 'Rain's World', going from country to country, relentlessly doing press conferences, hotel to hotel, in and out the plane, endless training and rehearsal for the concerts, a full house for each and every one of his concerts; i think he is simply AMAZING. i went with MBF to his concert here in bukit jalil and it was simply amazing... 2 hours of his music and i think that is the closest deal that i can get to see him in this life! but am very happy. thanks to all my sponsors for the concert. me love you guys! (Thank you so much Ms. C and Mrs. H.). as an Asian, im in awe! He has becoming more and more popular, and will make his debut in the United States soon!

For me, i first came across Rain from the drama "Full House" in 2004,which was one of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time with ratings of over 30% for every episode. It was broadcasted in many other countries including the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan and the U.S. Through Full House, Rain was recognized across Asia. His performance in the drama also won him the Best Actor Award at the KBS Acting Awards.

His latest concert was at the Tokyo Dome on 25 May 2007 which attracted nearly 40,000 people. The Tokyo Dome is the largest auditorium in Japan, and many artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, as well as many top Japanese artists have played concerts there. Rain is the first Korean artist to perform at the Tokyo Dome.

I agree that he is not as handsome as Daniel Henney but he sure has his own aura and talent to share with his fans. With milions of fans around the world currently supporting him and his music, i would say that he is a force in asian music and as an avid fan myself, all i can say is...AJA AJA FIGHTING!!!!

you go RAIN!!!!

Very pleasant, polite, shy and softspoken, he showed a lot of courage as I always like to impose questions on people that i have just met and try to make the time as less formal and less pressure as it can be. Hope that i dimaafkan sebab menyibuk at that bedey do, but i do love party and stuff, oh well! ;-)

I can see that we can be friends...cutie people can always be my friends.

Farewell dinner at Al-Marjan, KLCC

ambience is okay but the food...ummm...not for me. the curry tasted funny and the desserts as well have a very weirdy minty taste.

but to Ms. Y, you will be missed! all the best, hope that we will meet again someday!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

WATCHED Harry Potter with my friends yesterday at KLCC. this time i managed to get my popcorn and my ice lemon tea, yay! the movie was okay, a bit slow at first but then it gets better. as a harry potter avid fan, all harry potter movies are a must and me loving it all the time! cant wait for the last sequel, will harry potter die? in my opinion, i dont think so. maybe someone close to him will, will it be hermione or ron? ummmm, my best bet...it would be ron, we shall see...

TRANSFORMERS

watched TRANSFORMERS last nite with my ED, CIO, the finance and the marketing people at KLCC. had dinner, japanese by the way which is my fav, and then straight away we dashed off to the cinema and much to my dismay, the queue for my popcorn were like as long as the bullet train in Japan itself! and the worst thing, it seemed that the line like standstill and each one yang beratur ordered like 5 popcorn and 5 cokes!
me want my popcorn...thats the thing abt KLCC, the line so F****** slow, unlike the berjaya times square. they have more efficient people working at the counter. thank god the movie was superb. but i didnt have my popcorn which i usually does! i need my popcorn when i watch movies. its like a must.
on the other note, also tips to the guys, please please if you ask a gurl out for a movie, please please ask her whether she wants popcorn or not...it would be a bonus point for u if you buy the popcorn together with some drinks and also some candy and tidbits...seriously!!!!
my CIO actually queue until the last minute before the movie started for my popcorn...i think that is sweet...halla.........tho i dont get the popcorn, im happpy that he tried, so i really appreciate that *SIGH*...shoot, am goona get teary over popcorn??? damn this hormones!

Rudy Youngblood

Rudy Youngblood, the newcomer who plays Jaguar Paw, is a Comanche-Cree-Yaqui Indian who lived near Ada, Ok., before moving to Los Angeles last year to try his hand at acting. Four months later, he was cast by Gibson in Apocalypto's lead role.

APOCALYPTO

(quoted from the internet)

Say what you want about Mel Gibson, but he knows how to make an authentically real statement about the human condition. The movie is about civilization and how smaller is better. There are some rain-forest dwelling American natives, somewhere in America where there are jaguars and monkeys. Then there are some "civilized" natives, with a huge society of nobles, serfs, slaves and sacrificial victims who get their hearts torn out and heads chopped off on top of a pyramid, for the appeasement of their gods and for the sake of controlling and entertaining the "citizens." Our noble small villagers of the forest are ultimately hunted down and enslaved by the more organized, and totally vicious, pyramid builders. This is a story of how one of these villagers deals with the horrific trials that his captors heap upon him. The whole movie is in an ancient native language, subtitled in English, and it lends an air of excruciating authenticity to the happenings. One gets the feeling of being a time traveler, as this 500-year-old world seems so real, with every detail of weaponry, cookware, clothing, jewelry, labor practices, buildings, village characters, and sacrificial ceremonies so obviously researched that it made me feel uncomfortably like I was involved in it all. We are constantly getting the crowd's point of view of all the empire's activities and abuse of its captives and underlings. There is a lot to look at here, from God's beautiful nature to man's nightmarish creations, so it deserves to be seen on a big screen.

L.O.V.E. tips...

Book to read..

Finished this book on wednesday, finally. great book, no lengthy story narrated like tony parson kinda thing, love the cover, love the touch of reality that the writer invoked in the story. make sure that you have a box of tissue handy as towards the end, things gets a little mushy, in a kinda sad, humble and sacrifice like kinda a way. Thanks Mr. Petman!

Overall summary:-
The food-i prefer kuantan and terengganu food anytime.
The kek lapis-must try and must bawa balik as its way cheaper from KL (especially on hari raya).
Waterfront-eeerrrr, seriously!!!! i was overly dissapointed as for me its "more indah kabar dari rupa". maybe i expect too much.
Hilton Hotel-do check out the senso bar. great ambience and great view of the waterfront. most hotel rooms have the waterfront view, mine does at least!
Bot Penambang-please try just for the sake of it, will cost you minimal fare of RM0.30 and you get to the other side.
Pasar Satok-please be early as by half 12, vendors starts packing and haggle as much as you can. good luck on that ! also its very hot....very! still-no cute guys!
Cat Museum-Must visit for the cat lovers! but make sure that you say to the taxi driver-cat museum and not Muzium Kuching as you might be driven to the wrong place.

Mee Golok

I am not a fan of this noodle...the soup is nice, but the noodles...nope, not for me!
